Biography

Rachel’s professional experience has given her opportunities to work with children with special needs and their families, adults with chronic and pervasive mental health problems in the community, substance misuse evaluation, assessment, support and counselling. Her speciality is in working with children in schools and residential facilities where the child is experiencing emotional, behavioural or social difficulties. Children experience problems for a wide range of reasons and she is happy to discuss how she could help your service in understanding children experiencing emotional or mental health difficulties.

Rachel wants to develop a quality, respected training team offering Mental Health Awareness Training in topics like:- anxiety, emotional awareness, bereavement, attachment, happiness, self-harm, behaviour, listening skills and more.

She is a mental health specialist practitioner focused on providing individual and family services. Specialising in work related to children and young people: behaviour, social skills, emotional well-being. In particular she offers support to schools on emotional well-being and developing whole school training, awareness, policies and interventions.
