Building on a wide-ranging background that includes industry and third sector organisations, Alex joined MI Health having successfully worked for a number of years in academic-support and industry-facing roles within the health sector. She now acts as coordinator for the joint activity between the MI Health institutions, combines the collective excellence of 7 universities to deliver improved health and regional growth.

Alex’s role also includes building innovative pan-regional academic networks, supporting Midlands Engine, producing briefing papers for Midlands’ stakeholders and, most recently Alex has coordinated and authored the upcoming Midlands Health and Care Inequalities Policy Commission, led by Lord Adebowale and Professor Kamlesh Khunti.
