Dr Jon Court has been a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine at Chesterfield Royal Hospital since 2002. He is the Trust Chief Digital Officer with responsibility for the delivery of the Digital Transformation agenda for the Trust and our Integrated Care System. Jon is committed to a clinically led Digital First approach to the transformation of healthcare, enabling staff to deliver best care by ensuring digital systems and processes are interoperable, intuitive and safe. Jon is the informed client for DSFS to Trust Interface.

His work has a vast scope; his diverse portfolio includes staff engagement, project management and fulfilling patient safety agendas at the highest Trust and Regional level. Digital Transformation sits at the core of his role. Jon has been the only Listening into Action lead in the UK who is an acute secondary care consultant, where in three years he delivered enormous gains that were given accolade by the HSJ.

Jon is responsible for the prolific spread of permission free change throughout the organisation. He is a graduate of cohort one of the NHS Digital Academy, and previously the Trust’s CCIO. He works as an executive within the Board to further the digital agenda within the Trust. He has roles in the ICS and influences across the entire healthcare system.
