Dr Armando Mendez-Villalon

Armando is an engineer and researcher with expertise in electrical and electronic engineering. He commenced his academic journey at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí in México, successfully attaining both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Telecommunications Systems in 2010 and 2012 respectively.

In 2014, Armando embarked on an academic journey by moving to England to pursue a Ph.D. in electromagnetic research at the University of Nottingham.

Following the completion of he’s PhD degree in 2018, Armando assumed the role of a Research Fellow within the Bioengineering Group at the University of Nottingham in projects centred on remote monitoring sensors for mental health research.

In 2022, Armando embraced a new role as a Data Engineer within the Digital Research Service at the same University.
