Patients and the public are needed to help us shape a new regional NHS data programme!

The West Midlands Secure Data Environment programme is looking to recruit members of the public to a Patient and Public Advisory Group. Please share the patient involvement information below with any colleagues, patient groups, voluntary organisations, or anyone who may be interested. It is vital that we have a diverse group of people at the heart of data access, use and communication.

The West Midlands Secure Data Environment is an NHS England funded project. It aims to create safe and secure online spaces for research projects that use health and care data. The programme brings together NHS organisations and Local Authorities with local universities and industry partners to build on existing collaborations and successful research partnerships.

Patients and the public are essential to all decision making for the programme. We want to bring together and hear from a diverse group of people who represent the region’s population.

We are looking for volunteers with a strong passion for research, the healthcare data environment and improving outcomes for patients.
